A mid-19th century mahogany ‘Rocking Ship’ 8-day Longcase Clock, signed S. Magnus, Swansea, with two-weight movement striking on a bell, the painted and enamelled 13-inch arched dial with Roman chapter, subsidiary seconds and date aperture and rocking ship automata to the arch, the case with boxwood stringing and spiral twist columns, long trunk door, arched hood with three ball finials, 91in (231cm) high, with two weights and pendulum. Condition: overall good condition, clock currently running and striking, but we cannot guarantee it.
